Terms, Conditions and General Information
About
your Eagle Badge: Eagle Badges are die struck from the highest quality silver or gold alloys. These metals are chosen for their purity and resilience. To clean your Eagle Badge use a soft cloth, warm water and a mild soap. Never use an abrasive or chemical agent.
Signature Series Product Line:
All
Signature Eagle Badges are manufactured for the discerning department
using the highest quality solid silver or gold metal alloys. The
lustrous colors permeate throughout the badge and will never wear off.
Signature
Eagle Badges use only the
finest French Cloisonné Enamel Glass for all seals, centers, ribbons and
panels kiln hardened to ensure the finest badge available.
Signature Eagle Badges are polished to a brilliant luster and finished with a clear baked lacquer to help maintain that showroom new look and increased durability.
Signature Eagle Badges are hand made multi piece construction which allows maximum flexibility in creating your own unique and custom design.
Signature Eagle Badges are available in Polished Gold Tone, Polished Silver Tone and Two Tone finishes.
Traditional Series Product Line
Eagle Badge Traditional Series product line is manufactured using our state of the art Electroklad™ process, which is applied to the base of a highly polished badge or product.
The
Eagle
Badge Traditional Series use only the
finest French Cloisonné Enamel Glass for all seals, centers, ribbons and
panels kiln hardened to ensure the finest badge available.
The Eagle Badge Traditional Series products are finished with a clear lacquer to help maintain that showroom new look and increase durability.
Eagle Badge Traditional Series product features a "no excuse" 2 year finish guarantee. If for any reason your finish becomes unacceptable during this period, Eagle Badge will correct or replace the item at absolutely no cost to you.
Traditional Eagle Badges are available in Gold Tone, 24K Gold, Nickel, Rhodium, Gun Metal Black, Copper and Two Tone finishes. All finishes are available in subdued.
Remember, as you are designing your badge that most of the panels and seals are interchangeable with the various badge bases for even greater custom design options. You may also opt to have your own seal, panel or badge created specifically for your department. This option truly allows you to create your own custom look for your department. Orders: A letter of authorization with
appropriate signature and stationary must accompany all orders.
All orders must be submitted on approved Eagle Badge
order forms. Orders must
include correct and appropriate information to ensure accuracy of order.
Eagle Badge shall not be liable for missing or
incorrect orders.
Special
or Rush Orders:
Orders requiring less than normal production time shall be approved by the factory before being accepted and may be subject to a 33% surcharge plus shipping fees.
Cancellations: Orders shall not be subject to cancellation without factory approval. Orders cancelled are subject to a service charge of not less than 25%.
Production
Time: Normal
production 6 to 8 weeks for our signature series and 5 to7 weeks
for our traditional line of products. Production time varies depending upon the complexity and size of
the order. Custom
artwork produced or designs requiring new dies may lengthen the
process dependent upon final customer approval.
Artwork
and Design: To
ensure complete conformity of your requirements, please clearly state in
detail all specifications. Camera
ready black and white artwork must be supplied.
On orders requiring artwork production, a 2 hour minimum charge is
affixed.
Die
Set Up Charges: All
dies remain in the care of Eagle Badge for the exclusive
use of the customer concerned. Payment
of die or set up charges does not convey ownership.
Delivery: Orders
received in our office are processed within 2 business days.
Incomplete orders are delayed until complete information is
obtained.

Shipping: Shipping,
handling and materials shall be billed at actual cost.
If no method of shipment has been denoted, Eagle Badge
will select the most appropriate method of shipment.
Warranty: All Eagle Badge products carry a lifetime warranty against detachment of safety catches, joints, posts or panels. Seals or cloisonné enamels also carry a lifetime guarantee. The tough clear lacquer finish is warranted to protect your badge, cap piece or other related product for 2 years. The Eagle Badge Electroklad™ finish is guaranteed for the life of the item. Eagle badge guarantees against any other manufacturing defect for 1 year.
Trademarks: Eagle Badge shall assume that customers are authorized to use trademarks or likeness thereof presented for production. Submission of an order form and or request for artwork shall serve as prima facia authorization for such. By submission of an order form and or request for artwork there shall be a presumptive assumption by the customer that Eagle Badge shall be held harmless in litigation and that in the event of litigation the customer shall concede culpability and assume all costs associated by Eagle Badge, its consignees or heirs.
Terms: For
new accounts without prior credit approval payment shall be made in
advance. Customers with
approved credit are net 30 days. Accounts
past 30 days are assessed a finance charge of 1.5% per annum. Please contact Eagle Badge for finance arrangements.
Conditions
of the Sale: It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure any Eagle Badge product is used in compliance with all Federal, State, local and departmental laws or regulations. Badges are available only to authorized law enforcement and public safety agencies. |
